Houston Aquarium

Houston has a lot of fun, touristy places and the aquarium was pretty cool! We went with our friends Blake and Emily Heiner! The only thing we didnt do was the shark train...i guess you take a little train to a shark tank but we didnt want to pay $5 extra dollars each!

I felt like a little kid in there! It probably was just for kids haha

This stingray was definitely an attention getter! It kept circling the tank with half of its body out waiting for people to touch it! I actually touched it! I kind of freaked out a little! haha

I loved the seahorses!

I thought it was strange that the very last room had a tiger in it....a random white tiger! But it was cool to see and pretty!

The Mall

Sometimes Kirk and I on Sundays would just go walk around and see things! We went to the mall and looked around! The Galleria is a super huge mall with TONS of stores, a lot are high end, and it even has a ice skating rink! We went to the LEGO store and got to put together our own LEGO people! I tried to make them look like us! We were walking around the mall and found this memorial waterfall! It was pretty cool and designed to look like the Roman stadiums! I actually saw a friend of mine on Facebook get engaged there later!

Fourth Of July

We had a fun Fourth of July! Kirk had to work but he got off a little early! I went with the girls to a big park in down town Houston where they had a big event called Freedom Over Texas! I bought tickets ahead of time so we went in and walked around! Soon after Kirk and the other guys met us there! They had a huge kids play area, lots of food vendors lining the street, a stage where Billy Currington and Sara Evans performed, and the military had brought tanks on display! We had fun walking around, eating pizza, watching the singers, hanging out with our friends and watching the fireworks! They were awesome! This was our first 4th of July together and it was awesome!

Our friend Kendy! She loves Kirk!

Oh and all of us girls made our own shirts! It was pretty fun!
