Easter

My parents always have us over for Sunday dinner so they also had us over for an Easter dinner!

Paint Party!

On April 7, 2012 Kirk and I got invited to a paint party! I was a little confused what actually happened at this party but as i looked at pics on facebook I quickly learned! It was at a big warehouse at an old western town that they covered the walls with plastic! They had a band, lights, loud speakers, a big screen and lots of people! Everyone wore white with the black lights so this is what we looked like on the way there.....

Before the paint came there was lots of dancing and spotting friends in the crowd! Kirk isnt too much into dancing so we hung out and listened to the music and hung out with friends!

Then, at midnight they announced the paint was coming! Everyone was so excited! Minutes later they brought out buckets full of water guns filled with paint! They counted down and everyone went crazy! I got shot in the face by people i didnt even know! Everything and everyone was covered in paint! Then they brought out balloons while everyone danced and searched for extra paint! Soon after that Kirk and I left because we were exhausted! Then we looked liked this......

We went home, showered and said it was fun but we might not go next year! Man, we seemed to be becoming adults....what is going on??

Coffe Table turned Ottoman

One thing Ive discovered about Kirk is he loves a deal...he will look at Ross, Burlington Coat Factory, Craigslist, Nordstrom's Rack, or Goodwill before he will look for something anywhere else! He likes stopping at Goodwill when he has time just to see if theres anything we could use! One thing we both enjoy is redoing furniture! We were having a hard time find a large ottoman that wasnt too pricy! So we found this coffee table on 50% off saturday (best time to go) at Goodwill and headed to Joanne's Fabrics for the supplies!

We painted it and put together the top and covering and turned the table top into a hinged top! We store blankets and pillows underneath! It was a fun project to do together and we already have other furniture were ready to redo!

Britton Douglas Woodruff

We got our second nephew on April 3 early in the morning! He is so cute! We finally got to meet him in October when Kirk and I went to Utah and stayed at Weston and Amanda's house! Britton is going  to enjoy talking with Abby as he gets older!

New Hair

I changed my hair! I was a little nervous at first but Kirk gave me some encouragement! Since i decided  to go through with it i drove straight to my salon and picked up the stuff! I did it myself and i think it turned out pretty good! It's called ombre or a melt if your from Utah haha and many people have it like this or want it! I was pretty excited!
