Donating Blood

The company Vivint gives wonderful incentives to their sales reps...they also give incentives to the wives! During the summer they have activities for the wives to compete in, we have to take a pic, then corporate usually draws out of a cup a few offices to win prizes! Like a shopping spree or a trip to the spa...we havent won anything yet :( This competition was all about service so we went to donate blood and made baby blankets for a hospital! We had to come up with a creative slogan and pic...i couldnt donate blood because i dont weigh enough (apparently you have to weigh over 100 lbs.) haha
but i tried to participate! The nurses were very funny! One was from Louisiana and wore a crown because she said she was the queen of the office! haha

4th of July-Bring It On!

The other wives and I try to make a craft at least once a week! So since the 4th of July is coming up we were making wreaths and some of us made ours patriotic! It was pretty easy just time consuming! Ill post the link so you can enjoy the 88 wreaths ideas i found! haha Now all I need is a door hangar!

Work BBQ

June 17, 2012 Kirk's work (Vivint) had an office bbq! We met at Memorial park and had a potluck! They had small grills so we used about 4 of them to cook the steaks for 50 people! While the girls were setting up the food the guys played football and with the frisbee that Kirk brought!

I signed up to bring watermelon and while online the other day saw pics of watermelon carving! So i decided to make it interesting by carving VIVINT into the watermelon then freezing it and everyone loved it! I kept hearing "Who made this!? its awesome" haha

Galveston!

In June a bunch of us girls drove down to Galveston! Its about an hour and a half from where we are in Houston! We stopped at one one of the restaurants and hung out at the beach for a bit! It was fun the only thing is the beach isnt very pretty! They have a pier called Pleasure Pier that has food and rollercoasters but we didnt go on it cause it costs $10 just to walk on! So we just played in the sand and water instead!

Kirk's brother Scott and sister-in-law Megan had their baby girl the morning of June 6th! She is the cutest little girl and looks just like them! She'll have fun with Tristan as an older brother!
