Sweetheart

Kirk is a sweetheart and I came home the other day to a sweet note on the mirror! I love finding these notes and his cute texts! Today I got a text that said "How did i get so lucky to have a gorgeous wife like you?" He makes me smile!

If you cant read it, it says "I love you my gorgeous bride, I dont know what I would do without you! -Love Me :)

So i try to make his day by sending him pics of me! haha

Armoire

Right after Kirk and I got married we were searching for furniture online and came across this armoire! I liked the look of it and Kirk agreed so we went to this guys house and picked it up! It was online for about $90 but we got it for $70 thanks to Kirk! We kept it in Sam and Cherri's garage while we were in  Houston and moved it into our extra bedroom when we moved to ASU! Finally we decided to finish it!  We went to Home Depot, picked out paint, sprayed the screws and metal with his parent's finisher, and picked up the fancy, black scroll piece from Hobby Lobby! I love the way it came out! Kirk did so much work to help me! Know I just need to get our craft/gun room organized so we can use it!

Dinner with the Neighbors!

We got invited to have dinner at our neighbor's house! Everyone brought something to share so we brought the cookies! A couple other neighbor couples came also! Theyre a fun group that are in our ward! Were happy to have good neighbors!

Bowling!

Tuesday night we went bowling with some of our friends! After 9pm was unlimited bowling for $9! When we got there the leagues were finishing up so we played a few games in the arcade! It was fun! Then we got a lane and started bowling! The girls didnt do so good the first round but we did much better the second game! The group next to us was loud and getting drunk!

Supercross

Kirk and I hadnt planned on going to Supercross this year but its almost like tradition now! We got a call from our friend Brad Stears and he asked if we wanted to go with them! So we went to their house and drove with them to the light rail!

We hurried and got on and rode it all the way to the Chase building! We got off and started searching for tickets because we didnt have any! This one man on a bike said he would get us some but then he rode off and we never saw him again! This other guy said to follow him and he walked and walked but we couldnt figure out where we were going! Then we ran into this group of like 10 scalpers and we were lucky to get 6 tickets all next to eachother for a little cheaper then normal! So we waited for Aaron and Camille to get there and we went inside!

 We got some Subway and waited for the races to start! They were so fun!

 We saw some weird people in the audience and it was pretty cold! 

When it ended everyone raced to the car and got on the freeway home! Aaron let us all squeeze in his car and dropped us off at our car then he went straight to work as a Mesa Police Officer! Brad and Melisha took us to Sonic cause we were hungry then we took Camille home! I was glad to get home in my warm house!

A Wedding

One of my old friends, Brandon Wellman, got married on January 5! My family catered their lunch and we got invited to the reception! I was excited to see a lot of old friends! I saw a lot of them and some old leaders and people from our old ward Eastridge. My parents came and everyone started sharing old stories and talking about things we did when we were younger! My dad was a scout leader and all the young men LOVED him and by default became friends with me and my family! haha It was fun to see everyone!

Saturday Night

Saturday nights usually become busy nights! First in the morning Kirk helped Scott and Megan lay grass in their yard! We got 2 invites to wedding receptions and we went to a movie! We stopped by Brandon Wellman's reception! Ive known Brandon since I was little and got to see lots of old friends there! Most of them were boy scouts in my ward that my dad was a leader over growing up! Then we went to Rubio's because I was hungry and I love Rubio's! Afterwards we went AMC and watched Skyfall! We were exhausted and ready for bed!
